Wrong turn...

a friend shares her latest favorite quote: I took a wrong turn, then I kept taking wrong turns when I found out I was already lost.
I say, life is like a city you have never been and behind every corner there is another wonder to see.
hem (a turkish remark instead which I don't know what could be used in English) isn't what looks wrong now, then looked right ? therefore, in the future, it can turn out to be the right turn again... in the larger context of things, this universe - what really does matter to us now, really doesn't mean anything for the quarks or nebulas...or the physics will give up ruling the universe. judgement and evaluation are subjective but definitive.

Avatar fans feeling depressed at not being able to visit Pandora !

Wow - this is really depressing. Childish. Why not to look around, say, to West Papua - exactly the same story happening there ?
Go there if you so want to leave in Pandora.
But perhaps because Pandora story offers a happy ending within its borders (on the silverscreen-IMAX 3-D or whatever) and West Papua is far from being liberated from its resources pillage, no body would want to hear their story.

Dubai !

In this video, clearly seen is a Dubai sheikh torturing a man. Court agrees this week that he was the victim who was drugged and being targeted by plotters.
Nothing to say to him, I wonder, all those governments around the world praising Dubai's rise and governance for the sake of a few million dollars of contracts...what do they have to say ? what those politicians study at the university ? A pupet state of oil wealth, extravagant and testeless waste of world resources.
I guess I should never fly with Emirates again.

Such an amazing atmosphere, chilled out, full of music. worth every penny spent. there are so many hidden tunes at the corner's of make-shift bars, unscheduled jam sessions. It is not only music, also the seminars, shows, art installations. what an amazing congregation of inspirations. highly recommended.
